Welcome to Almost Home Infant Care & Preschool. Opened in 1998, Almost Home is the fulfillment of my dream of the ideal Early Childhood Center. We have begun with the
perfect setting: a beautiful, 5,000 square foot facility on one acre of partially wooded land that is centrally located in Findlay near the fairgrounds. A courtyard in the rear makes an ideal
outdoor playground with climbers, swings, bike paths, sand area, and a large, open grassy area for soccer, kickball, and
T-ball.
Seven classrooms are well-equipped with the latest early childhood equipment to accomodate 10 children per room. Ages are divided for developmentally appropriate activities: newborns (0-12 months), one year olds, two year olds, Jr. Preschool
(3 year olds), Preschool (4 & 5 year olds), School children (6-8 year olds), and a half-day preschool classroom. In the center of the building is an indoor large motor room of soft, colorful climbers and tunnels appropriately named
"The Muscle Room."
